George Rosener
George Rosener was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rosener started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Doctor X" (1932) with Lionel Atwill, the dramatic adaptation "Union Depot" (1932) with Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and the mystery "The Circus Queen Murder" (1933) with Adolphe Menjou. He also appeared in the Frank Buck action movie "Jungle Menace" (1937). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties, appearing in the Joe Penner comedy "New Faces of 1937" (1937), the George O'Brien drama "Park Avenue Logger" (1937) and "Sh! the Octopus" (1937). He also appeared in "The Mysterious Pilot" (1938) and "Confessions of a Nazi Spy" (1939). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "Hitler, Beast of Berlin" (1939) with Roland Drew, "The Great Commandment" (1939) and "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" (1940) with Raymond Massey. He also appeared in the western "In Old Cheyenne" (1941) with Roy Rogers. Rosener more recently acted in the H. B. Warner mystery "The City of Missing Girls" (1941). Rosener passed away in March 1945 at the age of 66.
