Glenn Vernon

Glenn Vernon was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Vernon appeared in such films as "Youth Runs Wild" (1944), "Days of Glory" (1944) and "Sing Your Way Home" (1945) with Jack Haley. He also appeared in "Bedlam" (1946), "The Bamboo Blonde" (1946) and "The Devil Thumbs a Ride" (1947). He kept working in film throughout the forties and the eighties, starring in "The Woman on the Beach" (1947) and the horror feature "I Bury the Living" (1958) with Richard Boone. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Annihilator" (NBC, 1985-86). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles on "Murphy Brown" (1988-1998), "Doogie Howser, M.D." (ABC, 1989-1993) and "The Ben Stiller Show" (Fox, 1992-95). Vernon most recently acted in "Eating LA" (1999).
