Greg Daniels
From the animated dusty roads of Arlen, TX in "King of the Hill" (Fox, 1997-2009) to the fluorescent-lit shenanigans in NBC's "The Office" (NBC, 2005-13),writer and producer Greg Daniels quietly lent a sense of authenticity - not to mention hilarity - to some of television's biggest comedy hits. With such iconic programs like "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975- ), "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1990- ) and "Seinfeld" (NBC, 1989-98) on his resume, Daniels seemed to have a hand in many comedy touchstones of recent memory. Perhaps his days at Harvard, spent with the likes of Conan O'Brien, helped develop his keen observational humor, a quality which many people were able to relate to, helping to turn the shows he had worked on into ratings behemoths.
