Gregory Cruz

Gregory Norman Cruz was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "Ishi: The Last of His Tribe" (1978-79), "Act of Violence" (CBS, 1979-1980) and "Stingray" (NBC, 1984-85). He also took on a few movie roles at the time, appearing in "Scarface" (1983) and the Sylvester Stallone action flick "Cobra" (1986). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Tecumseh: The Last Warrior" (TNT, 1994-95). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the dramatic period piece "...And the Earth Did Not Swallow Him" (1995) with Jose Alcala. Recently, he tackled roles on "Criminal Minds" (2005-), "Longmire" (2011-) and "Grimm" (NBC, 2011-17). He also appeared in "Lonely Street" (2009) with Jay Mohr. Cruz most recently acted on "Backstrom" (Fox, 2014-15).
