Harry Ford
Harry M. Ford was an American actor who was best known for playing Dr. Angus Leighton on the CBS medical drama "Code Black" (CBS, 2015- ). Born and raised in Tennessee, Ford got bit with the acting bug at a relatively young age. He started appearing in community plays throughout his hometown of Dyersburg while still in middle school, and soon set his sights on Hollywood stardom. Before that was to happen, however, Ford wanted to further his acting training by attending college. He landed at Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts, where he eventually earned his bachelor's degree in acting. Once acquiring his BFA from the University, Ford headed east to enroll in New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. While attending NYU, Ford found the time to appear in some Off-Broadway plays, thus honing his craft even further. After graduating from NYU with his master's degree in acting, Ford started auditioning for film and TV roles in earnest. He appeared in the short film "Spanish Rice" in 2013, and followed that up by nabbing a small part in the 2015 film "Louder Than Bombs." The film, about a father and son coping with the death of the family's matriarch, also starred Gabriel Byrne and Jesse Eisenberg. Ford's big break came in 2015 when he was cast as a resident doctor on the CBS medical drama "Code Black." The series premiered in the fall of 2015 and was quickly renewed for a second season. Ford reprised his role as Dr. Leighton when season two debuted in September of 2016.
