Helen Gilbert's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of her Hollywood career. Gilbert's career beginnings included film roles in the Lewis Stone comedy "Andy Hardy Gets Spring Fever" (1939), "The Secret of Dr. Kildare" (1939) and "Beyond the Blue Horizon" (1942). She then acted in "Isle of Missing Men" (1942), "The Falcon Takes Over" (1942) with George Sanders and "Three of a Kind" (1944) with Billy Gilbert. She also appeared in the Margaret O'Brien drama "Music For Millions" (1945) and the Richard Denning crime feature "Girls in Prison" (1956). Later in her career, Gilbert worked on "A Christmas Without Snow" (CBS, 1980). Gilbert passed away in October 1995 at the age of 80.
