Hugh Wakefield was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1931, he made his film debut in "Farewell to Love." In 1954, he played his final film role in "Man with a Million." Wakefield began his career with a role in "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1934) with Leslie Banks. Wakefield next focused his career on film, appearing in the dramatic adaptation "Blithe Spirit" (1945) with Rex Harrison. Later in his career, Wakefield acted in the Gregory Peck comedy adventure "The Man With a Million" (1953). Wakefield passed away in December 1971 at the age of 83.
