Ian Anthony Dale was a versatile character actor who often popped up on some of the most acclaimed TV dramas of the early 2000s. Born on July 3, 1978 in Saint Paul, MN, Dale first became interested in acting as a high school baseball star. He studied stage and theater at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN, and continued his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dale moved to Los Angeles after graduation, and soon started booking small roles in films, including the Bernie Mac baseball comedy "Mr. 3000" (2004), the Jack Nicholson/Morgan Freeman senior citizen romp "The Bucket List" (2007), and the raunchy Las Vegas classic "The Hangover" (2009). In between film roles, Dale made plenty of appearances on TV, including shows such as "Angel" (The WB, 1999-2004), "JAG" (CBS, 1999-2005), "24" (FOX, 2001-2008), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015), "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-), and "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). Dale won over the video game crowd by playing Scorpion on the web series adaptation of an arcade classic, "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" (YouTube, 2011-2013), and scored his first series regular role as Adam Noshumuri on the reboot of "Hawaii Five-0" (CBS, 2011-). Dale co-starred in Alex Kurtzman's summer sci-fi series "Salvation" (CBS, 2017-).
