Charlie Lyne Guardian Saturated in neon, gratifyingly loud, and a wonderful showcase for charismatic supporting actor Brett DelBuono, you can certainly imagine XOXO finding an audience with the post-SpongeBob, pre-Orange Is The New Black demographic. Sep 19, 2016 Full Review Nick Murray Village Voice Most of XOXO's plot may be as predictable as an EDM song, but it too offers pleasures to those willing to give themselves over to its rhythms. Sep 8, 2016 Full Review Keith Uhlich The Hollywood Reporter In the moment, the film's simplistic spirit is intoxicating. But take my word for it -- the real-world hangover that follows is fierce. Aug 30, 2016 Full Review Nico Lang Consequence If you share the filmmakers' starry-eyed view of EDM, you might like XOXO. Everyone else, however, is urged to buy a ticket to another show. Rated: C Aug 29, 2016 Full Review Travis Hopson Punch Drunk Critics There's nothing new or vaguely original here, but the film does capture the hypnagogic appeal of the rave scene, which is something Hollywood has often struggled with. Rated: 3/5 Aug 28, 2016 Full Review Rohan Naahar Hindustan Times BTW, WWJD? JK, LMFAO XOXO. Rated: 3/5 Aug 26, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

David R I watch this movie literally twice a year. Each time, different scenes mean different things to me as I get older and have different experiences. I love XOXO. Jump and the universe will catch you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Daniel W Truly organic. If you were born in the 80s or 90s, this movie will take you back to a time when it was about young love, awesome jams, and finding yourself. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Audience Member fun. simple. no complex drama. Just people's lives meet at one point in time just like life and that place is an awesome party. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review johann m The lives of six strangers collide during a frenetic night of romance and dream chasing when a young DJ portrayed by a terrible actor is given a chance to perform at a festival. Too predictable and a lot of clichés that make it hard to believe they made it into the final product. Not even the very anticipated final song was good enough. It's a shame. I expected more of this type of movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very cringe and bad acting, best part of the movie is the neon lighting and music. This movie almost seems like a parody film of what goes on at music festivals if you only listen to dance, teance, and house. Would be hilarious and probably better somewhat if they filmed this at Lost Lands Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/20 Full Review Read all reviews
