Jack Teagarden

Jack Teagarden was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Teagarden found his beginnings in film with roles in "Birth of the Blues" (1941) and the drama "Glory Alley" (1952) with Ralph Meeker. Teagarden also appeared in "The Glass Wall" with Vittorio Gassman (1953), "Jazz on a Summer's Day" with Louis Armstrong (1959) and the Tobey Maguire and Jeff Bridges blockbuster "Seabiscuit" (2003). Teagarden's music was most recently featured in the Michael Peña dramatic biopic "Cesar Chavez" (2014).
