      James Dixon was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dixon began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the action movie "Black Caesar" (1973) with Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, the Beau Bridges comedic drama "Your Three Minutes Are Up" (1973) and "It's Alive" (1974). He also appeared in "God Told Me To" (1976), the Broderick Crawford biographical drama "The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover" (1977) and the horror sequel "It's Alive 2" (1978) with Frederic Forrest. His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like the Adam Arkin comedy "Full Moon High" (1981), "Q" (1982) with Michael Moriarty and "The Stuff" (1985) with Michael Moriarty. He also appeared in the comedy sequel "A Return to Salem's Lot" (1987) with Michael Moriarty and the Michael Moriarty comedy sequel "It's Alive III: Island of the Alive" (1987). During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the comedy "Wicked Stepmother" (1989) with Bette Davis, the thriller sequel "Maniac Cop 2" (1990) with Robert Davi and the Ned Kelly drama "Like Father" (2000). Most recently, Dixon acted on "Grimm" (NBC, 2011-17).
