Janis Ian

Janis Ian brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Janis Ian kicked off her entertainment career with features in films like the Sue Lyon western "Four Rode Out" (1969), "Friday the 13th... the Orphan" (1979) with Peggy Feury and the Farrah Fawcett comedy "Sunburn" (1979). Her music also appeared in the drama "Foxes" (1980) with Jodie Foster. Though known first for her music, Janis Ian also acted in "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-). Unsurprisingly, Janis Ian's talents were entrusted to provide musical contributions for films like "Virus" (1980) and the drama "Falling From Grace" (1992) with John Mellencamp.
