Jerry Lester found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Lester began his career with roles in the Judy Canova musical comedy "Sleepytime Gal" (1942) and "Candid Camera" (CBS, 1948-1956). Later, he acted in "Pari e Dispari" (1978), "Smokey and the Bandit II" (1980) and "Hardly Working" (1981). Later in his career, Lester appeared in "NBC's 60th Anniversary Celebration" (NBC, 1985-86).
