John Bell
Scottish actor, John Bell became best known for his appearances in the Hobbit films. Bell was born on October 20, 1997, and made his acting and TV debut in an episode of "Doctor Who" (BBC One, 2005- ) in 2007. He then landed the starring role in family drama A Shine of Rainbows (2009); the film, and his performance, received mostly positive praise. Bell then portrayed recurring character Anthony Weaver on sitcom "Life of Riley" (BBC One, 2009-2011) through 2009 and 2010. He joined the main cast of children's drama sequel series "Tracy Beaker Returns" (CBBC, 2010-12), and played Toby Coleman from 2010 to 2011. Bell appeared in Wrath of the Titans (2012) as Helius, Perseus' son. The following year, he appeared in his most well-known role as Bain, son of Lake Town hero Bard, in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013). He returned as Bain in the final film in The Hobbit trilogy, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies (2014).
