Actor Josh Daugherty became interested in movies at the age of five and spent his adolescence performing in productions of beloved musicals like the classic "The Music Man," as well as singing in his high school's choir. By age 19, he had made it as a radio DJ, working in country, rock and talk radio formats. In 1998, Daugherty moved to Los Angeles, and a year later he had landed his first television and film appearances, including a seven-episode recurring role on the family drama "Providence," with other notable guest parts including a turn on the short-lived thriller series "Day Break." His first substantial film appearance came in the 2002 Vietnam War drama "We Were Soldiers," playing star Mel Gibson's radio operator, but television has remained his primary medium. Daugherty has built on his radio experience by working as a voice actor for video games such as the war game "Stormrise." In the realm of advertising, Daugherty has appeared in over 50 commercials, including spots for fast food chain Taco Bell and cell phone service provider T-Mobile. As an advertising voiceover man, Daugherty's most notable credits include narrating six spots in beer company Budweiser's 2008 $50 million campaign promoting their brew's "drinkability."
