Josh Saviano
Despite receiving acclaim for his work on one of the more popular television shows of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Josh Saviano had a short-lived acting career. Saviano initially entered show business via a brief appearance in a toothpaste commercial, before landing a role in the 1988 comedy "The Wrong Guys." That year Saviano also took the role he would be best remembered for, the nerdy Paul Pfeiffer on "The Wonder Years." As the best friend of lead character Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage), Saviano appeared in over 90 episodes of the show, from 1988 through 1993. Saviano received a pair of Young Artist Award nominations for his work on the show, in 1989 and 1993. Saviano would also appear in an episode of science fiction anthology "The Ray Bradbury Theater" and in the TV movie comedy "Camp Cucamonga" during this time, but he walked away from acting after the conclusion of "The Wonder Years." Years later, a rumor that Saviano was shock rocker Marilyn Manson proved to be false; he now works as a lawyer.
