Joshua Redman
Joshua Redman worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "A Salute to the Newport Jazz Festival" (1993-94), "Newport Jazz '93" (PBS, 1993-94) and "Jacksonville Jazz XV" (PBS, 1994-95). Redman also contributed music to the dramatic adaptation "Vanya on 42nd Street" (1994) with Wallace Shawn. In the nineties, Redman devoted his time to various credits, such as "The 38th Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1995-96), "Kansas City" (1996) starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and "Nissan Presents a Celebration of America's Music" (ABC, 1996-97). He also worked on "Robert Altman's Jazz '34" (PBS, 1996-97) and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997) starring Kevin Spacey. He also appeared in "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998) with Dan Aykroyd. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Jazz" (PBS, 2000-01). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Newport Jazz '99" (PBS, 1999-2000). Redman also contributed music to the Clint Eastwood action movie "Space Cowboys" (2000). Most recently, Redman appeared on "The 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honors" (CBS, 2013-14).
