Actress Patty Joy Harmon was known for her roles on the silver screen. Harmon marked her early career with roles in the biopic "Mad Dog Coll" (1961) with John Davis Chandler, "Under the Yum Yum Tree" (1963) and "Gidget" (ABC, 1965-66). She then acted in "Village of the Giants" (1965), "Young Dillinger" (1965) with Nick Adams and the dramatic adaptation "Cool Hand Luke" (1967) with Paul Newman. She also appeared in the dramedy "Angel in My Pocket" (1968) with Andy Griffith and "20th Century Follies" (ABC, 1971-72). Later in her career, Harmon worked on the comedy "Dr. Giggles" (1992) with Larry Drake.
