Karen Sheperd was a well-renowned actress with a series of roles in action movies under her belt. Sheperd began her acting career in action flicks like "Sword of Heaven" (1985) with Mel Novak and Gerry Gibson, "Mission of Justice" (1992) with Jeff Wincott and Brigitte Nielsen and "Cyborg II: Glass Shadows" (1993) starring Elias Koteas. She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Diagnosis Murder" (CBS, 1993-2001). She kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Terminator Woman" (1993), the action picture "Operation Golden Phoenix" (1994) with Jalal Merhi and the action movie "Soul of the Avenger" (1995) with Mark Pellegrino.
