Keith Allan
Keith Allan was an American actor who landed his breakout role in 2014 in the zombie series "Z Nation" (Syfy, 2014- ). Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Allan always had a desire to act. After high school he headed south to Los Angeles to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. It was at the school that Allan honed his acting chops, while also developing the skills he needed in order to perform in front of a live audience. After leaving the school Allan decided to pack his bags and move once again. This time, however, he landed in the most unlikely of spots - Colorado. Still, it was while living in the Rocky Mountain state that Allan began to find himself as a stage actor. He performed in plays all throughout the state, developing a name for himself while also earning an award for his role in a stage version of "Cabaret." In the early 2000s Allan turned his attention to film and TV acting in Los Angeles. He quickly began to land guest spots on TV shows like "Will and Grace" (NBC, 1998-2006), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015), and "Scrubs" (NBC/ABC, 2001-2010). Allan continued landing film and TV roles well into the 2010s, including parts in two zombie-themed movies: "Rise of the Zombies" (2012) and "Zombie Night" (2013). Then in 2014, after nearly 15 years of steady but mostly anonymous work in the film and television industry, Allan nabbed his very first meaty TV role on the zombie apocalypse series "Z Nation." The series, which debuted on the Syfy network in September 2014, was renewed for a third season in November of 2015.
