Kevin Stea
Kevin Stea was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Stea kickstarted his acting career with films like "Newsies" (1992) starring Christian Bale and "Showgirls" (1995) starring Elizabeth Berkley. He had an early role on the television special "Madonna -- Live! Blond Ambition World Tour" (HBO, 1989-1990). He also appeared in the TV movie "In Search of Dr. Seuss" (TNT, 1994-95). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in the Robin Williams smash hit comedy "The Birdcage" (1996), the Shiri Appleby dramatic adaptation "A Time for Dancing" (2002) and the Mike Myers blockbuster comedy sequel "Austin Powers in Goldmember" (2002). He also appeared in the musical comedy "The Country Bears" (2002) with Christopher Walken and "13 Going On 30" (2004) with Jennifer Garner. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Nikki" (WB, 2000-02). Recently, he continued to act in the action flick "Starsky & Hutch" (2004) with Ben Stiller, the Rosario Dawson dramatic adaptation "Rent" (2005) and the Chris Kattan romantic comedy "Adam & Steve" (2006). He also appeared in the musical "Naked Boys Singing!" (2007) with Vincent Zamora. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Tracey Ullman's State of the Union" (Showtime, 2007-2010). Most recently, Stea worked on the dramatic adaptation "The Tempest" (2010) with Helen Mirren.
