Kim Tannenbaum is the executive producer behind such shows as "Two and a Half Men" and "Notes from the Underbelly." After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in business administration, Tannenbaum began working as a television development executive on such primetime series as "Diagnosis Murder" and "In the Heat of the Night." After marrying her creative partner, Eric Tannenbaum, she accepted a position at Columbia TriStar Television, where she served as senior vice president of comedy development, and was instrumental in the creation of numerous successful shows. She later landed a job as executive vice president of creative affairs at Artists Television Group, where she helped to develop such shows as "The Ellen Show" and "The Steven Weber Show," and formed relationships with talent like producer Darren Starr. In 2004 she executive produced the TV movie "Gramercy Park" and followed up with a producing credit on the short-lived series "Center of the Universe." Since 2003 Tannenbaum and her husband Eric, have executive produced the award-winning sitcom "Two and a Half Men," about the struggles of two odd-couple brothers and their nephew who are forced to live together. Tannenbaum, along with producer Mitch Hurwitz and her husband, also ran Tantamount Studios, where they produced the animated series "Sit Down Shut Up" and the family sitcom "Brothers." She has also worked on the 2007-2010 series "Notes from the Underbelly" and numerous TV movies, including "Ab Fab" and "Happiness Isn't Everything."
