Kristen Dalton

Actress Kristen Dalton is best known for her recurring role on the Stephen King TV series "The Dead Zone." Hailing from San Diego County, California, Dalton made her screen debut in the Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell action-comedy, "Tango & Cash" (1989). Though her on-screen time in the film was brief, the fiery redhead soon gained the attention of TV casting agents, landing small roles on such popular series as "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Murder, She Wrote," and "JAG." Due to her resemblance to certain well-known, auburn-haired actresses, Dalton was chosen to portray Tina Louise (Ginger Grant) in the 2001 docudrama "Surviving Gilligan's Island: The Incredibly True Story of the Longest Three Hour Tour in History" and Audrey Meadows (Alice Kramden) in the 2002 made-for-TV biopic "Gleason." While Dalton frequently appeared in films as arm-candy for older, powerful male leads--most notably as the vixen-like girlfriend of Jack Nicholson's mob boss in the 2006 drama "The Departed"--she created a far more multifaceted character in Bangor Daily News journalist Dana Bright on the USA Network series "The Dead Zone."
