Lee Montgomery
Lee Montgomery was in the public eye from a young age, starting out as a child model and then landing a substantial role in Disney's "The Million Dollar Duck" in 1971. The slapstick comedy about a golden egg hatching an irradiated duck, and the family that adopts her, served as a springboard to Montgomery's first starring role just a year later, in "Ben." In that film, the sequel to "Willard," he played Danny Garrison, a boy who befriends the leader of a vicious gang of rats. Montgomery appeared in guest spots on several dozen television programs through his teens and into his early 20s. In 1985 he took on the role he is probably most recognized for, the hunky Jeff Malene who is paired up on a fictitious dance TV show with Janey Glenn (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) in "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." He stopped acting in his late 20s and focused on other passions, mainly music. He scored the 2002 fantasy Western "Legend of the Phantom Rider," as well as the 2005 short "Trespasses," a grim thriller about the relationship between a vigilante and a prowler.
