Dan C I may be wrong, but I don't think this is horror movie. I think it has to do with a journey through life. Yes, there are some spooky elements, but that's part of life's passage. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review martin a A great vintage horror, and sometimes these vintage bad films are great fun now as they do not make films like this now, Its fun and badly acted but highly enjoyable Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie has potential on paper, but this isn't a book. The budget, the script, the cast and the special effects would work well for a campy low budget horror film, but the direction and pacing is so slow and deliberate it makes it hard to stay engaged. No tension, no suspense, no humor. This movie aimed too high and the talent just wasn't good enough to pull off a serious thought provoking horror film. If they would have aimed for an entertaining movie that made fun of itself and the horror tropes and cliches that they painfully go through this could have been a cult classic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A rather stupid plot, but so well-made altogether. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Chemical waste from a plant in a small Southern town transforms inhabitants to blood seeking mutants. Stereotypical role for favourite Bo Hopkins while Jennifer Warren is curiously credited for a 'Special Appearance'. Goes on a bit too long and dim lighting often holds proceedings back in the tense moments. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid acting by main cast. Somewhat of a slow start to a mediocre story. Has a couple of legitimate scares. Competent directing and an eerie overall feel make this a fun late night guilty pleasure. Chris Alexander Alexander On Film The movie is an atmospheric, unpretentious down-home horror flick that, more often than not, feels like Meth-fueled remake of Tobe Hooper's 1979 TV movie adaptation of Stephen King's SALEM'S LOT.
