Leonard Gaines
Leonard Gaines was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Gaines kickstarted his acting career with films like "New York, New York" (1977) and "Blue Collar" (1978) with Richard Pryor and Harvey Keitel. He also appeared in the TV movie "Flamingo Road" (NBC, 1979-1980). He continued to act in productions like the drama "Hardcore" (1979) with George C Scott, the action picture "Rocky II" (1979) with Sylvester Stallone and "The Idolmaker" (1980). He also appeared in the Peter Boyle comedy "Where the Buffalo Roam" (1980). Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in the Peter Weller fantastical comedy "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension" (1984) and the action flick "Lionheart" (1991) with Jean-Claude van Damme. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Two Lives of Carol Letner" (CBS, 1981-82). Gaines last acted in "Scent of A Woman" (1992) with Al Pacino. Gaines passed away in February 2007 at the age of 85.
