Les Bates
Les Bates was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Bates began his career with roles in "Deserted at the Altar" (1922) and "My Dad" (1922). Bates then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the Hoot Gibson western "The Texas Streak" (1926) and "The Glorious Trail" (1928). Later in his career, Bates acted in "The Fighting Legion" (1930). Bates passed away in August 1930 at the age of 53.
