Liam Carroll

Liam Carroll caught the acting bug at a very young age, and broke through with a comedic turn on the TBS sitcom "The Detour" (TBS, 2016- ). Born in Manhattan Beach, CA, Carroll was an avid surfer, skateboarder, and hockey player, who fell into acting slightly by accident: after tagging along to auditions with some friends, he realized that he enjoyed the process. By the age of 10, he was performing on stage at the Family Theater in nearby Hermosa Beach, and in 2014, he landed his first TV gig with a cameo role on an episode of the sci-fi comedy "The Neighbors" (ABC, 2012-14). Carroll's breakout role was that of Jared Parker, the big-hearted yet painfully dimwitted youngest son of Jason Jones and Natalie Zea on the TBS sitcom "The Detour" (TBS, 2016- ), co-created by Jones and his wife, Samantha Bee. Carroll reprised the role for the show's second season in 2017, which found the Parker family adjusting to their new life in New York City.
