Louise Carter
Louise Carter was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Carter's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Back Pay" (1930), the dramatic adaptation "Broken Lullaby" (1932) with Lionel Barrymore and "Hell's Highway" (1932). She also appeared in "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang" (1932) and the Sylvia Sidney dramatic adaptation "Madame Butterfly" (1932). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Tess of the Storm Country" (1932), the Howard Phillips dramatic adaptation "The Last Mile" (1932) and "Beauty For Sale" (1933). She also appeared in "Pilgrimage" (1933) and the Charles Bickford drama "This Day and Age" (1933). In the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in "Beloved" (1934), "Ready For Love" (1934) and the comedy "You're Telling Me" (1934) with W C Fields. She also appeared in "Mystery of Edwin Drood" (1935). Carter more recently acted in "Nancy Drew - Reporter" (1939) with Bonita Granville. Carter passed away in November 1957 at the age of 82.
