Gold worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including"Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire" (1985) starring Phil Daniels, "The Dark Crystal" with Jim Henson (1982) and "The Great Muppet Caper" (1981). She also contributed to "The Muppets Go Hollywood" (ABC, 1980-81) and "The Pirates of Penzance" (1983) starring Kevin Kline. In the eighties and the nineties, Gold devoted her time to various credits, such as "Labyrinth" with David Bowie (1986), "Spitting Image: Down and Out in the White House" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Spitting Image: The Ronnie and Nancy Show" (NBC, 1986-87). She also worked on "The Rita Rudner Comedy Specials" and "Jim Henson's The Secret Life of Toys" (Disney, 1993-94). Gold focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Jim Broadbent dramatic comedy "Topsy-Turvy" (1999) and the Andie MacDowell comedic adaptation "Crush" (2002). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Jim Henson's Animal Show" (Fox, 1994-96). She also lent her distinctive voice to "Animal Farm" (TNT, 1999-2000). Gold most recently worked on "Muppets Most Wanted" (2014).
