Luis Alberni
Luis Alberni was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Alberni landed roles in various films, including "The Man From Beyond" (1922), "The Bright Shawl" (1923) and "The Mad Genius" (1931) with John Barrymore. He also appeared in the John Barrymore drama "Svengali" (1931), "Cock of the Air" (1932) and "The Big Stampede" (1932). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Count of Monte Cristo" (1934), "Goin' to Town" (1935) and the Lawrence Tibbett drama "Metropolitan" (1935). He also appeared in the drama "Love Me Forever" (1935) with Grace Moore. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the comedy "I'll Give a Million" (1938) with Warner Baxter, the dramedy "The Great Man Votes" (1939) with John Barrymore and the comedy "The Housekeeper's Daughter" (1939) with Joan Bennett. He also appeared in the Ann Sheridan musical comedy "Naughty But Nice" (1939) and "Enemy Agent" (1940). Alberni last acted in the Alan Ladd drama "Captain Carey, U.S.A." (1950). Alberni passed away in December 1962 at the age of 76.
