Luis Avalos
Actor Luis Avalos was known for his roles on the silver screen. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Avalos acted in comedies like "Hot Stuff" (1979) with Dom DeLuise and Jerry Reed and "Stir Crazy" (1980) with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. He had a part on the television special "Side By Side" (CBS, 1975-76). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "The Electric Company" (PBS, 1971-72). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like "Ghost Fever" (1987), the fantasy "Criminal Act" (1988) with Catherine Bach and the comedy "The Butcher's Wife" (1991) with Demi Moore. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "George Burns Comedy Week" (CBS, 1985-86). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the comedy adventure "Jungle2jungle" (1997) with Tim Allen and "Hollywood Homicide" (2003) with Harrison Ford. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Ned Blessing: The Story of My Life and Times" (CBS, 1992-93). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Tom Clancy's Op Center" (1994-95). Avalos last acted in the Johnny Knoxville comedic sports movie "The Ringer" (2005). Avalos passed away in January 2014 at the age of 68.
