Maidie Norman
Though she didn't begin acting until she was almost 40, Maidie Norman quickly made up for lost time with a variety of steady supporting roles in everything from sitcoms to feature films. She made her theatrical debut with a minor role in "The Burning Cross," about a war veteran who comes to regret signing up for the Ku Klux Klan, and appeared in several live TV anthologies before being cast in the Douglas Sirk melodrama,
