Mark Dennis was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Dennis's earliest roles were in film, including the thriller "Secret Beyond the Door" (1948) with Michael Redgrave, the Ted Donaldson drama "Rusty's Birthday" (1949) and the thriller "Targets" (1968) with Boris Karloff. He also appeared in the comedic drama "Nickelodeon" (1976) with Ryan O'Neal. In the seventies and the eighties, Dennis devoted his time to various credits, such as "Greased Lightning" (1977) and "Elvis" (ABC, 1978-79).
