Internet personality Nash Grier amassed a collective 30 million social media followers before moving into the film world with roles in "The Outfield" (2015) and "You Get Me" (2016). Born in Greensboro, NC in 1997, Grier initially planned to pursue a career in medicine, but his priorities changed when after discovering the video-sharing app Vine, he became one of its biggest stars within a matter of weeks. The huge popularity of Grier's comedic short clips saw him invited to join MAGCON (Meet and Greet Convention), a touring group of online personalities which also included future chart star Shawn Mendes, actor Cameron Dallas and younger brother Hayes, who by that time had also built a large Vine following. Grier subsequently moved to Los Angeles where he co-launched a clothing line and a series of mobile and social apps, guested in music videos by Austin Mahone, Poo Bear and Bera, also co-directing the latter's "I Look Good on You," and made appearances on several national chat shows. In 2014, Grier made headlines for all the wrong reasons when it emerged that he had used a homophobic slur in a Vine clip about a HIV home testing kit, something which he later apologized for, claiming he was 'young, ignorant, stupid and in a bad place.' Grier bounced back from the controversy when he was cast alongside Dallas and former Disney Channel star Joey Bragg as one of three baseball players attempting to navigate their tricky final year of high school in "The Outfield" (2015). His acting career continued to thrive with roles as Gil in high school love triangle drama "You Get Me" (2016) and a leading part in Bret Easton Ellis' directorial debut, "The Deleted" (2017), a streaming series about a group of twentysomething cult escapees, while an autobiography detailing his rise to fame, and a South American tour dubbed "The Wave" helped further expand his empire.
