Nicolai Ghiaurov

Nicolai Ghiaurov was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Requiem" (1977-78), "Don Carlo" (PBS, 1983-84) and "Met Centennial Gala Telecast" (PBS, 1983-84). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "La Boheme" (1989-1990), "James Levine 25th Anniversary Gala" (PBS, 1995-96) and "The Richard Tucker Honored Guests Opera Gala" (PBS, 1996-97). Ghiaurov's music was most recently used in the comedy "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" (2010) with Anthony Hopkins.
