Star athlete Nolan Ryan discovered new fame off the baseball field with his entrance into the world of entertainment. Ryan began his career with roles in "Grand Slam" (1988-89) and "First Person With Maria Shriver (02/19/92)" (NBC, 1991-92). He went on to act in "First Person With Maria Shriver (08/26/93)" (1992-93), "The Andy Griffith Show Reunion" (CBS, 1992-93) and "Sports Illustrated For Kids Slam Dunk, Home Run, Touchdown TV Sports Quiz" (HBO, 1993-94). More recently, Ryan appeared on "George W. Bush" (1998-99).
