Paula Roth
Veteran television producer and writer Paula A. Roth is best known for her work on the series "Happy Days" and its related spinoff "Laverne & Shirley." She began her career in 1976 as a story editor and writer on the series "Laverne & Shirley." Roth wrote 13 episodes from 1976 to 1982 and served as an executive story consultant and editor as well. In 1977 she began working on the hit series "The Love Boat," writing six episodes from 1977 to 1986. In 1980 she began to produce as well, working on an episode of the series "Goodtime Girls." Later that same year she wrote episodes of the series "I'm a Big Girl Now" and "Making a Living." In 1982 she began writing for the series "Happy Days" and served as an executive story consultant for four episodes. That same year she wrote an episode for another "Happy Days" spinoff, "Joanie Loves Chachi," starring Scott Baio. In 1986 Roth began work on the series "Perfect Strangers," for which she wrote 16 episodes and served as a producer. Roth also worked as a co-producer, supervising producer, and executive producer on the show from 1986 to 1993. Later that same year she produced an episode of the sitcom "Family Matters" and after a break from the industry created the German sitcom "Mein Leben & ich," which was based on the American series "My So-Called Life." Roth wrote 26 episodes of the show and served as a consultant as well.
