Ralph Peters
Ralph Peters was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Peters's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Wanted By the Police" (1938), the Jack Randall western "Where the West Begins" (1938) and the Ken Maynard western "Flaming Lead" (1939). He also appeared in "Oklahoma Terror" (1939), the western "Riders of Black Mountain" (1940) with Tim McCoy and "Death Rides the Range" (1940). He continued to act in productions like "You're Out of Luck" (1941), "My Kingdom For a Cook" (1943) and the mystery "Black Magic" (1944) with Sidney Toler. He also appeared in "Take It Big" (1944). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the crime picture "Dark City" (1950) with Charlton Heston, the western "Slaughter Trail" (1951) with Brian Donlevy and "The Racket" (1951) with Robert Mitchum. He also appeared in "The Sniper" (1952) and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1953). Peters was most recently credited in "The Future of War" (PBS, 2000-01). Peters passed away in April 1959 at the age of 57.
