Ray Abruzzo

A native New Yorker, actor Ray Abruzzo is widely recognized for his roles on the television shows "The Practice" and "The Sopranos." Abruzzo began acting on TV during the 1980s, appearing on episodes of "Falcon Crest," "Riptide," "Trapper John, M.D.," and "21 Jump Street." In the late '80s, he was featured in his earliest recurring roles, first on "L.A. Law" and then the soap opera "Dynasty." After a stint on the sitcom "Night Court," Abruzzo made numerous one-off appearances in the '90s, including spots on "Murder, She Wrote," "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," and "NYPD Blue." In '98, Abruzzo became a semi-regular character on the legal drama "The Practice," appearing in more than 40 episodes as a detective. Abruzzo's most high-profile role arrived in 2002, when he started portraying recurring character Little Carmine Lupertazzi on the acclaimed mob series "The Sopranos." Later guest-starring on episodes of "Boston Legal" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," Abruzzo continues to showcase his knack for appearing in procedural dramas.
