Richard Gates
Rick Gates was a Hollywood actor who starred in a number of dramatic films. Gates found his beginnings in film with roles in the Clint Eastwood western "Hang 'Em High" (1968), "The War Between Men and Women" (1972) and "So Long, Blue Boy" (1973). Later, he acted in "Candy Stripe Nurses" (1974), "Washington: Behind Closed Doors" (1977-78) and "Santa Barbara" (NBC, 1983-1993). He also appeared in "Pleasures" (ABC, 1985-86) and "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994). Later in his career, Gates worked on the Vincent Spano drama "City of Hope" (1991).
