Roland Drew
Roland Drew was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Drew's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Dolores Del Rio drama "Ramona" (1928), "Broadway Fever" (1929) and "The Racketeer" (1929). He also appeared in "The Love Trader" (1930), "She Asked For It" (1937) and "Hitler, Beast of Berlin" (1939). He kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in the sci-fi picture "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe" (1940) with Buster Crabbe, "The Saint Takes Over" (1940) with George Sanders and "Bullets For O'Hara" (1941). He also appeared in "Dangerously They Live" (1941), the comedy "The Smiling Ghost" (1941) with Wayne Morris and "Underground" (1941). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Across the Pacific" (1942) with Humphrey Bogart, "Lady Gangster" (1942) and "Secret Enemies" (1942). He also appeared in "The Big Shot" (1942) and "The Contender" (1944). Drew more recently acted in the crime picture "Two O'Clock Courage" (1945) with Tom Conway.
