Russell Curry was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Curry began his acting career with roles in dramas like "Another World" (NBC, 1963-1999) and "Santa Barbara" (NBC, 1983-1993). He also appeared in the TV movie "Gus Brown and Midnight Brewster" (NBC, 1984-85). During the early stages of his acting career, Curry worked in films like the Brian Dennehy comedy "The Check Is in the Mail" (1986). Following that project, he worked on the comedy "Phantom of the Ritz" (1988) with Peter Bergman and the crime flick "Mobsters" (1991) with Christian Slater. He also starred in the TV movies "Glory Days" (CBS, 1988-89) and "The Court-Martial of Jackie Robinson" (TNT, 1990-91). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Picket Fences" (CBS, 1992-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "A House of Secrets and Lies" (CBS, 1992-93). He also held acting roles in films like "Falling Down" (1993) with Michael Douglas and the crime adaptation "What's The Worst That Could Happen?" (2001) with Martin Lawrence. Most recently, Curry produced "Boiling Pot" (2015).
