      This veteran costumer has alternated between contemporary films and period pieces. Ruth Myers was born and raised in Manchester, England and received her training at St Martin's College of Art in London. After receiving a scholarship to further her studies with the English Stage Company of the Royal Court Theatre, she joined the company, working her way up from wardrobe assistant to designer. Myers spent a season with a troupe in Oxford, before returning to the Royal Court in 1965.
