Sam Laws
Sam Laws was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Laws started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Cool Breeze" (1972) with Thalmus Rasulala, the crime picture "Sweet Jesus, Preacher Man" (1972) with Roger E Mosley and "Walking Tall" (1973) with Joe Don Baker. He also appeared in the action movie "Hit Man" (1973) with Bernie Casey, "Dirty O'Neil" (1974) and the action flick "Truck Turner" (1974) with Isaac Hayes. He continued to act in productions like the comedy "Darktown Strutters" (1975) with Trina Parks, "The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings" (1976) with Billy Dee Williams and "Blast" (1976). He also appeared in the action film "White Line Fever" (1976) with Jan-Michael Vincent. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Heart Like A Wheel" (1983), the Malcolm McDowell comedy "Get Crazy" (1983) and "Project X" (1987). Laws more recently acted in the Kristy McNichol drama "White Dog" (1991).
