Samuel Le Bihan

French actor Samuel Le Bihan is well known in his homeland, having starred in a string of popular, acclaimed motion pictures. Le Bihan's career began in the late 1980s, with roles on television ("La chaîne") and in film ("Volt egyszer egy légió"). Le Bihan continued landing roles throughout the 1990s, including a breakout performance in 1996's "Captain Conan," for which he was nominated for a César Award (in the "Most Promising Actor" category), and a Prix Jean Gabin Award win in 1999. Le Bihan continued appearing in popular regional films during the early 21st century (including such titles as "Brotherhood of the Wolf," "Jet Set," "Shooting Stars," "The Code," and "He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not"). Additionally, Le Bihan co-starred alongside F. Murray Abraham, Kathy Bates, Robert De Niro, Harvey Keitel, and Gabriel Byrne in 2004's "The Bridge of San Luis Rey," and won a Cartagena Film Festival Award in 2008, for the film "The Sandman."
