Scott Elrod
Despite being nearly 30 before deciding to become an actor, Scott Elrod has managed to make quite a name for himself in films and on television. His breakthrough role came in 2007, when he landed the part of Cash on "Men in Trees" (ABC, 2006-08), and before long he was landing parts in major Hollywood movies such as "The Switch" (2010) and Ben Affleck's Academy Award-winning "Argo" (2012). In 2013, Elrod landed his first leading role as a washed-up baseball player in the sports drama "Home Run." He may have come to the decision later than most, but in less than a decade, Elrod proved his move into acting was the right choice.
