Simon Le Bon earned a special place in Hollywood for his large variety of musical contributions to film. Bon worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "American Bandstand's 33 1/3 Celebration" (ABC, 1985-86), "Hot Dog... The Movie" (1984) starring David Naughton, "Playing for Keeps" (1986), "Space Riders" with Barry Sheene (1983), "Tequila Sunrise" (1988) and "Three to Get Ready" (1988) starring Duran Duran. Bon was nominated for a Best Original Song - Motion Picture Golden Globe Award for "A View to a Kill" in 1985. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Bon devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Saint" with Val Kilmer (1997), "Donnie Darko" (2001), "Big Fat Liar" with Frankie Muniz (2002) and the Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott hit "American Wedding" (2003). Bon continued to exercise his talent in the early 2000s and the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "Layer Cake" (2005) starring Daniel Craig, "Greenberg" (2010), "Take Me Home Tonight" with Topher Grace (2011) and "Duran Duran: Unstaged" (2014).
