Sisqó
Born on November 9, 1978 in Baltimore, Md., Mark Althavan Andrews, known professionally as SisQó, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actor. Early on, Andrews, Larry "Jazz" Anthony, James "Woody" Green and Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin formed the R&B group Dru Hill. In 1999, the group members decided to pursue solo careers. SisQó's solo debut, "Unleash the Dragon," was released in November 1999. Also in 1999, SisQó formed LovHer, the first female quartet on the Def Soul label. After hosting the dance competition program "Sisqós Shakedown" (MTV, 2000), SisQó branched out into films, including "Get Over It" (2001) and "Snow Dogs" (2002). He also starred as a vampire in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" (2001). By 2002, Sisqó reunited with Dru Hill. In January 2008, SisQó was a contestant on "Gone Country" and in 2010, he was a contestant on the British reality television show "Celebrity Big Brother 7." In 2018, SisQó and Tilesha Brown released a holiday book for children, titled "Sisqo's Perfect Christmas." In 2022, Mark Althavan Andrews, aka SisQó, represented Maryland on the "American Song Contest" (NBC).
