When Miami dentist Ted Brooks (Cuba Gooding Jr.) finds out that he's been named in a will, he travels to Alaska to claim his inheritance. Once he gets there, however, his dreams turn to mush: he discovers he's been left a mischievous team of sled dogs -- who have got it in for him. Making matters even worse is the crusty mountain man Thunder Jack (James Coburn), who's also got it in for the city slicker. Wanting to claim the dogs for himself, Jack urges Ted to hotfoot it back to warmer climates.

Snow Dogs is a lighthearted family film that combines comedy, adventure, and a lot of heart. Starring Cuba Gooding Jr. as a Miami dentist who unexpectedly inherits a team of sled dogs, the movie is packed with laughs, colorful characters, and snowy escapades. While the plot is predictable and the humor can be a bit slapstick, the adorable dogs steal the show, and Gooding Jr.'s charm adds warmth to the story. It’s a feel-good film perfect for family movie night, delivering laughs and a positive message about embracing the unexpected. Ted Brooks (Cuba Gooding, Jr., right), who has inherited the dogs, has a chat with the old musher Thunder Jack (James Coburn, left).
